Y-East Van Brewery District Overview

Something’s brewing in “Yeast Van,”–the craft beer lovers’ nickname for East Vancouver, where there is a bounty of local micro-breweries. On Sunday, April 22, 17 area breweries will open their doors for Hop Circuit, a DIY beer tour of the neighborhood. Now in its third year, Hop Circuit 2018 features 17 East Van craft breweries. They’ll all be open from 1 to 5 pm, doors open wide to greet folks for tours, tastings, and more.

We will meet at the parking lot behind the Hotel at the Waldorf, look for Urban Pedal Tour signs and party bikes.

Olympic Village (Brewery Creek) Overview

Discover Vancouver’s beer scene and culture on this 3-hour guided bike tour. Stop at three breweries, located in Mount Pleasant (aka Brewery Creek), East Vancouver’s industrial district and the historic Settlement Building. Enter beervana as you sample nine beers with carefully paired food, including a delicious brunch. Cycle away with a newfound knowledge of Vancouver’s craft beers and perhaps a growler too.
